This weekend, users discovered that some conversations with the AI named Claude could be found on Google and Bing. What we write to AI is not always private.

• Reddit users were the first to discover it by typing site:claude.ai/share in Google
• Futurism reported that these included medical reports, names, children’s phone numbers, and internal company documents
• Anthropic stated that Share links only got onto Google when users posted them in public places, such as forums
• Google has stopped displaying them, but Bing still has about 612 results
